A premium shower with no grout to clean.
Fibo panels have a high-pressure laminate surface on a marine-grade plywood core, and they click together with a sealed joint. It's our top wall option for a shower that looks high-end and stays easy to keep clean. Brickman Home Services is a licensed General Contractor based in Spokane.
What Fibo is
- A high-pressure laminate surface on a 7-layer marine-grade birch plywood core, about 3/8 inch thick
- Panels join with a patented Aqualock click joint and sealant
- No waterproof membrane needed behind the panels, according to the maker
- No tile grout to scrub. Some patterns have a grout-line look in the surface.
- More than two dozen colors and patterns, in matte and gloss finishes
In a shower, we take out old tile before the panels go up instead of covering it. We usually pair Fibo walls with an InnovaStone engineered stone shower base. Fibo isn't recommended for saunas or steam rooms.
